Pakistani home ties are the land record, the school letter, and the tax number still active
The land extract is provincial
Pakistan does not have one national title certificate. In Punjab the record-of-rights extract is a fard from the Punjab Land Records Authority. Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan issue their own extracts. Upload the extract from the province where the land is, in your name or your spouse’s name.
School letters are for children who stay in Pakistan
Use the current report card and a letter on the school’s letterhead that names you as the parent. If the children are in the application with you, those papers are not a reason to return.
The business tie is the same NTN, with a date after the trip
SECP or the FBR NTN shows the business is real. That page is SECP and the NTN. The tie is a contract or a shipment dated after you are back, in that same name.
The papers, in Urdu
- NTN — نیشنل ٹیکس نمبر. FBR National Tax Number, plus the returns that cover the statement period.
- SECP — کمپنی رجسٹریشن. Certificate of incorporation, and only if a company in that name owns the account.
- Fard — فرد. Punjab land-record extract. Other provinces use their own form. Your name or your spouse’s, not a parent’s.
Visitor visa (from outside Canada) — Pakistan: 78 days
On September 22, 2026, IRCC's processing-time tool showed 78 days for Visitor visa (from outside Canada) when the country is Pakistan. The tool updates weekly. 78 days is an estimate, not a date IRCC owes you. Add the biometrics appointment and the time for the passport to come back.
What Canada charges — Pakistani rupee on September 28, 2026
IRCC charges Canadian dollars. The PKR column is the ExchangeRate-API mid-market rate on September 28, 2026: Rs 195.44 per CAD. A card issuer or a money changer will not use this rate. Confirm the CAD figure on the IRCC fee list.

A first-time applicant who must give biometrics pays CAD $185, about Rs 36,157, before any visa-application-centre service charge. Trip funds are a different test. The fee is not the funds.
The test does not change by country
Whether you will leave Canada is IRPR section 179. That rule is the same for every passport. Read the letter, change the file before you pay again, and treat a lump and weak ties as their own pages. This page is only the local paper.

The letter cites IRPR 179(b) when the officer wasn't satisfied you'll leave Canada. Read the factors under that line before you apply again.
